10/28/06                                       God's Army

At our home church, Church of the Hills, we have a 24/7 prayer room.   Certain times of the year there are explicit calls from the leaders of our church to enter in to a specific time set for prayer and fasting.    Recently we were asked to join in 40 days of prayer and fasting.   During this time we have the opportunity to spend time in this special room dedicated to the LORD.

As I was there with another sister in Christ, I received a picture of God’s Army ready and waiting in the Heavens.   They were mounted on their horses; each warrior in full armor, beautiful and gallant.   They were beating the breastplate on their chest just as you might see in a film, where the warriors are psyching themselves up building the intensity and adrenaline as they wait for the word to charge.  Only these warriors did not have to psych themselves up….they are already prepared in everyway for the victory that lies ahead.   They stand without fear of loss for they know that JESUS has already won, but the battle must still be fought.   JESUS is there at the head on a great white horse waiting for the Father’s release.  The sound of the pounding on their chest grew with passion ….

Then I saw the Army of God being formed on the earth; His saints that are rising up, stepping into their destiny; realizing just who they are in Christ.   They also are mounted on huge horses as are the heavenly army.  They are each in the full armor of God and they too are beating their chest with a growing strength rising up in faith.   Then I hear and as if I could see sound; saw, the sounds of the army in heaven coming down and the sounds of the army on the earth rising up…they are getting closer and closer.   The sound is astounding…I imagine a greater sound than was heard at Jericho when Joshua and his army along with the priests and all the people walked around the walls, the priests blew the trumpets, and the people loudly shouted and the walls fell.  (Joshua 6:2-21) The sound from Heaven; from the throne of GOD!

Beloved, I say this in love with complete sincerity, RISE up and SHINE with the light of JESUS!  Do not let fear and doubt be a deciding factor for you.    GOD has planted within you a desire to see heaven on earth.  HE has created you to be a part of HIS Kingdom.    Know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made.  Know that HE has plans to prosper you and give you hope and a future.   A future with HIM for eternity!   Oh, dear ones; please heed HIS call and go forth with HIS commissioning.   Tell everyone you meet how much JESUS loves them and what HE did for them.   Do this with the baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT being filled with His fire to not only speak but to testify by deed the goodness of the LORD.   Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this:   to visit the orphans and widows in their distress and to keep ones self unstained by the world. (James 1:27)  We must die to ourselves, our flesh on a daily, moment by moment basis.   This is the sacrifice the Lord looks for; being able to put God first in our lives and then the needs of others before our own.   God will take care of us as HE always does.   Matthew 6:33 says… “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”  He tells us the greatest commandment is to: “Love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, soul and mind and to love our neighbors as ourselves.”

Hear HIM dear one…we so look forward to working with you as we work together with Him for His Kingdom to see all come to know the glory and salvation of the Lord!

Blessings to you!

Matthew 22: 37-39 “Jesus replied: “Love the LORD you God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[

James 2:5  “you are called to be rich in faith and heirs of the Kingdom which HE promised to those who love Him.”

1st John 3:18 “let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.”

1st Peter 4:10  “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”

10/08/08                      I recently heard a phrase…”Hurt people hurt people!”

When we act out of our flesh we often let those things that have afflicted us become weapons we use against others.  When we have been hurt we want to hurt those who have hurt us; sometimes we hurt others that have nothing to do with it but they receive the attack of our release.  It is not always and in most cases not physical retaliation, but emotional; bad attitudes; neglect; hold back things we should be sharing…  If we are to live with the fullness of Christ; we must ask ourselves, how did Jesus handle this as Christ in flesh – a man?  He experienced all we experience, so how did He deal with rejection, neglect, harsh words, being lied about, called names, etc.  He was even spit at, beaten, had His beard torn from His face among other things.  How did He handle not retaliating?  How did He hang on the cross and say “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”   Most will say it was because He was God in flesh, others because He was JESUS and could.  Yes, JESUS was God in flesh, but flesh is the word we cannot overlook.  He was born of woman and walked this earth as you and I do.  He came not only to die in our place but to show us that we too can walk as He did.  Does it not say in John 14:12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”   How could we do even greater things if we could not do what He did?  So back to the question; how did Jesus handle hurt in His life time?   He looked at each individual through the eyes of God.   I did not say it would be easy.   It will take releasing our right to be angry or hurt.   Jesus was able to see what was causing them to hurt Him.  He saw the pain they were experiencing, their dissatisfaction, their loss, whatever it was causing them to lash out at Him or any other and He was not offended.  Instead He was filled with compassion for the person.   This is how we must handle this to help that person break free from their hurt.   We must ask God to show us and release in us the compassion He feels for this person; to let us see this person as He sees them and then speak into their life, their destiny.  We must also be able to look at our self and see the plank within our own eye before we judge or try to take the sawdust from another’s eye.  Matthew 5.   We must truly learn to love one another as God commands if we want to break the cycles of hurting people hurting people.  Love is an amazing emotion that brings joy and health to the body; not only our physical bodies but our spiritual bodies and the body of Christ.   So try this the next time someone lashes out at you…first look to see if you caused the offense and if so let your guard down and ask them for forgiveness.  If you were not the cause, then ask God what is going on with this child of His?  Ask Him to show you how you can help rather than escalate the situation.   Ask Him to fill you with His love and compassion so that You will be able to love them like He does.  You will be pleasantly amazed at how God will use you and work through you to touch that person’s life.   And you will walk away with a smile on your face feeling elated.

Be a blessing to someone and you will ultimately be blessed.

09/14/08                                          Fullness of Christ

Thursday I worked at a school in the Leander School District as a substitute teacher.   In the class where I was working there was a teacher who had her wrist and hand in a brace.  She was explaining that the doctors said she broke all the small bones in her wrist and that she had to wear the brace constantly until healed.  She said it was hot and uncomfortable and that her wrist and hand were still in a lot of pain.  I asked God to open an opportunity to pray for her.  It was not easily available because in this particular class we work one on one with the students.  But God is so faithful, He allowed her and I to be on the playground together.  This young lady came over to me and put her hand in front of me saying it was really hurting and uncomfortable.  I laid my hand on hers and told her I was sorry that it was hurting her and in my head began praying for the Lord to touch her.   She pulled her hand back and said “wow, it is tingling, would you do that again?”  I laid my hand back on hers and this time asked the Lord audibly to heal her hand.  She said it felt warm and really tingly.   She pulled off the brace and began moving her fingers and said she had not been able to do that for several weeks now, then she took her thumb and touched each one of her fingers and said she had not been able to move her thumb without pain, but there was no pain now.  She was so excited, asked me to pray again and then thanked me for praying for her.  I just told her that it was just Jesus showing her how much he loves her.  She smiled.

Well, then that night my husband fixed dinner and I did the cleaning up afterwards.  I was cleaning the burners; the first two I grabbed were cool so I grabbed the third one not realizing that it was still on.  I could feel the heat surge through my fingers; I immediately dropped it and grabbed ice from the freezer.  I thought a minute and then dropped the ice remembering that He would heal the burn.  I asked the Lord to heal me.  I then went to pick up the burner with a potholder this time but bumped my thumb knuckle against it and here another burn.  I just touched it with my other hand and spoke healing there too.    Finished cleaning the kitchen and went to bed.   No pain!  Yeah GOD!!!

I got up the next morning and while getting dressed realized that my hand did not hurt and when I looked at it there were no signs that I had been burned except for a small area on my thumb knuckle which can be seen but has no pain at all.   With all the activity going on seeing the Kingdom of God here on earth, I wondered if there was a prophetic meaning to all this with the experience involving two hands. Then I go to Austin Kingdom Academy class and Bill starts the teaching on core values of a revival culture.  On the 6th point he discusses the five fold ministry and uses the hand to relate to the five positions; Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Preacher/Pastor, and Teacher.  I immediately saw the teacher from the day before touching each of her fingers with her thumb.

I feel like God is telling us that in this time we are starting to really step into the fullness of Christ, taking hold of the mind of Christ as revealed in Scripture.   Jesus is perfect theology and Jesus fulfilled all of the five ministries.  He is an apostle, one who leads, establishes and strengthens the church.  He is a prophet, one who speaks forth the messages of God.   He is and evangelist, one who brings those God draws near into the fold.  He is a pastor/preacher, one who feeds and shepherds the flock.  And He is a teacher, one who instructs in the Word of God.   He fulfilled all these positions and has commissioned us with authority and power to do the same.  How exciting it is to live today.   What a privilege we have to reach out to others and share His love using all the gifts of ministry that He has given us.   Enjoy co-laboring with Him, there is nothing else like it or more fulfilling except being alone with Him in His presence.

8/18/08                                                     The Future is Now!

We are living in a time that the Bible would call the future; what is it, what does it mean and why is this important?

The Bible is full of prophecy that provides a true picture of what will and what has happened in both the Old Testament and New Testament.  To give you just a few:

God told Israel that they would spend four hundred years (exactly 400) and they would be delivered and they were; lead out to the promise land by Moses.

Genesis 15:13 Then He said to Abram: "Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land [that is] not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years.

Old Testament prophets prophesied that Israel would be scattered among all nation and they would return to their land, Israel (the promise land in 1948).

Jeremiah 30:11 For I [am] with you,' says the LORD, 'to save you; though I make a full end of all nations where I have scattered you, Yet I will not make a complete end of you. But I will correct you in justice, And will not let you go altogether unpunished.'

Isaiah 66:8 (NKJV) "Who has heard such a thing?  Who has seen such things?  Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day?  Or shall a nation be born at once?  For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children."

There are 125 prophecies about of the Messiah; Jesus fulfilled all of them.

One of the many is:

Prophecy - in 2 Samuel 7:14a;

The Messiah to be God’s Son

Fulfillment – in Matthew3:17 and Luke 1:17

Jesus Christ and writers of the New Testament spoke and prophesied about the return of Jesus and the last days. Jesus’ Disciples asked Him is Mat 24:3 “Tell us when these things will be?

Matthew 24:3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"

Jesus answered in Matthew 24: 4-8 about the last days.

And Jesus answered and said to them:   Matthew 24:4-8 "Take heed that no one deceives you. "For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many.

"And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

"For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

"All these are the beginning of sorrows.

"See, I have told you beforehand.

And in Matthew 24: 29-31 He spoke about His return or the Glorious Appearing.

Matthew 24:29-31 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Outpouring of the Holy Spirit; Acts 2:17-19.  "And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams, and on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.  I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke."

We are seeing another fulfillment with this prophecy; The Future is Now!

We, Spirit of Glory, believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God and everything in the Bible is true and when God says something is going to happening; it will happen.  Always in God’s perfect timing.  God is from the beginning to the end and from the end to the beginning, He knows what will happen because He was there in the beginning and in the end; and He is the Creator of ALL.

And if this is true and we believe it is, the Future is Now, that means Jesus’ return is imminent.

Since His return is imminent this also means the time is very short.  In the Bible we are commanded to tell everyone about Jesus and that He died for them, you and me. Mat 28: 18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Not all of us are evangelist, pastor, revivalist or even full-time ministers, however we are called priests, we are ordained, have full authority and we are commissioned to do as commanded.  Some of us are not comfortable in approaching people, but we can pray for them, give tracks, be a living witness, be a light to the world, ask God for an opportunity and He will orchestrate it for you.

The other thing we are to do is yearn for His return, it is that important; there is a Crown for our obedience; (Crown of Righteousness: II Timothy 4: 7, 8; For all who have loved His appearing).

Remember time is short, the Future is Now, and there are millions, perhaps billions of people who do not know Jesus.  We must tell them and we can in our own way; as Christians we are Ordained and Commissioned to do so.  God will direct and guide you and open doors for you to share with others of His glorious Kingdom.  God will Bless and Honor you for what you do for His Son.

6/13/08                                               I recently read...

I recently read in “Face to Face with God” by Bill Johnson that it is not that we, who believe in the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit and are working in the gifts, are better than others believers; it is just that we signed up!   I identified with that statement and understood it.   I know other believers; powerful in their faith of the Gospel who boldly share the salvation message to all they meet but do not believe in the gifts or are quite skeptic of them.   Mr. Johnson’s comment confirmed to me that it is not just in our belief, but in our hunger for God that positions us with God and ignites our relationship with Him to new levels.  We have all been called to the ministry and commissioned by Christ but not all take hold of it.   I wish they would!   I wish they could see!

As in applying for new employment or enlisting in service of any type, once you are in the door, the skies the limit.   Depending upon your ambition, your desire to do more, be more, you can accomplish beyond the first step you took.   So is our position in the Kingdom of God.    It takes that first step of obedience to His Word… “call on the name of Jesus”,  “believe in the Son of God”.   “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16.    God has offered us the position of sonship.   That in itself is enormous and awesome.   We have the opportunity to be the son or daughter of the God Most High; an heir to His Kingdom.   When applying for employment or even in enlisting, you must give your qualifications, your education, your background and if you fit their criteria, you may get the position.   With God, He knows your background, He knows your education He knows everything there is to know about you and still requires no application; He accepts us and gives thumbs up just as we are.   Believe it or not we usually do not fit the criteria in the eyes of man but with God; He knows our potential because He ordained it and the position is ours if we sign up for it.   He created us in His image and has plans for us for our future; plans beyond our expectation, beyond our imaginations.   And none of these plans are out of our reach if we will reach for them.   He longs for the relationship with us that allows Him to release in us more of His Holy presence.  If you hunger and thirst for more of Him, He will faithfully and be pleased to fill your belly, heart, soul and mind.  “Seek first the Kingdom of God and all things will be added unto you.”  Matthew 6:33.   The Kingdom of God is God Himself….Seek Him! If you have not gone through the open door of Christ yet, please go to our “sinner’s prayer” page and ask the Lord Jesus to be your personal Savior.   He is you know, there is no other name in the earth, under the earth or in the Heavens that can save except Jesus Christ.   Let Him know you need Him….you do!  Then if you desire more and more of Him, just ask, just sign up… Ask for the baptism in the Holy Spirit.   He is waiting for you and waiting to share so much more with you.

6/5/08                                The Visitation

What a great morning Wednesday it was at our MMOG (Mighty Man of God) weekly meeting.

As I look at what happened that morning we; commissioned Tom and Fred to go to Lakeland and receive His Holy Fire, prophesied over them, spoke blessing, spoke protection over them and their family and laid hands on them.  We then anointed and prayed over a prayer scarf while commissioning Mike and Amy for their trip to Brazil.  Then we prayed for Greg and his mission field in Turkey and spoke blessing and financial blessings for him.  Then to top it off, we symbolically crushed the head Satan.

I realized that we were doing what we were supposed to do: GIVE IT AWAY!  Fill us up so we can give it away and give it away.

Then that same night, the Visitation:

I was in bed and during the night I woke up to go the bathroom.  I did not turn on any lights so it was dark, I was fully awake then I felt a presence in the room.  I did not feel threatened, rather a sense of peace.  I just stood there with eyes open still feeling a presence then I looked to my right.  Remember how in the movies how the spirits are depicted somewhat translucent, not opaque, but you could see them.  As I said I looked to right and when they got closer I could see a portion of their clothed body, then I looked to my left and I saw a portion of another person.  They moved back a little I could no longer see them.  Then they both put their hands and my shoulders and I could see only their hands.  The closer they got the more of them I could see. Then I was looking forward and I saw a pair of hands beckoning me and I moved forward or the hands got closer; I don’t know which.  He/she was very close and I could see the eyes, only the eyes not a face, they laid hands on my forehead.  I stood there for a couple of minutes taking it in and then they were gone.  Silently I said; DON”T LEAVE…COME BACK!!!!

Whoa, that was good!

I went back to bed and when woke I was refreshed and ready to get into my bible and prayer time.

The Closer you get to GOD; The Closer HE gets to you!!!

4/10/08                                         God’s Righteousness through Faith

Romans 3:21-25 (NKJV)
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

Romans 3:21-25 (The Message)

21-24But in our time something new has been added. What Moses and the prophets witnessed to all those years has happened. The God-setting-things-right that we read about has become Jesus-setting-things-right for us. And not only for us, but for everyone who believes in him. For there is no difference between us and them in this. Since we've compiled this long and sorry record as sinners (both us and them) and proved that we are utterly incapable of living the glorious lives God wills for us, God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ.

25-26God sacrificed Jesus on the altar of the world to clear that world of sin. Having faith in him sets us in the clear. God decided on this course of action in full view of the public—to set the world in the clear with himself through the sacrifice of Jesus, finally taking care of the sins he had so patiently endured. This is not only clear, but it's now—this is current history! God sets things right. He also makes it possible for us to live in his rightness.

Through Faith in Jesus Christ, God has imputed His righteous on all who believe in Jesus. Since Jesus is perfect we receive His perfect righteous, giving all who believe unlimited access to God’s Throne.  There is no difference in our righteous, it does not matter if you are a new believer or have been saved for years, we all have His perfect righteous through faith.  Once you are saved, your righteous does not change, it does not get any better nor does it degrade, because it is perfect; allowing unlimited access to God the Father at any time.

The very moment you are saved several things take place and these are not all exclusive; your Salvation, access to God (perfect righteous), all authority over Satan (Matthew 28:18) and resurrection Power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 10:19).  Just like your perfect righteous, your salvation is always the same, never gets any better, and never degrades; it is perfect.

With respect to your salvation and righteous, there are no differences with anyone who is saved.  We have the same salvation; the same perfect righteous.  We do not deserve it nor do we have to earn it; it is a free gift and with it we have eternal life with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  Your salvation and your righteous are secure; we are part of a Kingdom that only knows advancement.

How we exercise the authority given to us and how empowered we are in the Holy Spirit will determine the difference we will make in the world or God’s Kingdom.  With empowerment and authority we can move to do extraordinary things for The Kingdom, like signs, wonder and miracles that spoil and defeats the works of the devil.

3/17/08                                                        GOD so LOVES

GOD so LOVES the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

Praise HIM for HIS love, Praise HIM for everlasting life; eternity with HIM!!!

That is what Easter is all about…HIS LOVE for Us and ETERNAL LIFE with HIM!

Most think of this “Eternal Life” as something we look forward to in the future when we leave this earth.  I believe that eternity with Him started the day of our Salvation when we turned our lives over to Jesus.   We are together with Him day in and day out for the rest of eternity.

And so many do not truly know HIS LOVE…This word “LOVE” has been one the LORD has spoken to me over and over for quite some time now.  It is the key to our existence, our being, and our future.  His love for us and our love for Him!

1st John 4:19 says We love because he first loved us.”   This LOVE of His showers us with grace!   This grace we have covers us; it is the blood of Jesus.   By Jesus’ blood, we are clothed in righteousness; we are cleansed from the darkness in our lives filled with His light.  This light lets us stand in our Father’s presence as pure as snow.

His LOVE is such a precious gift.

It is so awesome…we love because HE loves us.   It is not something we should have to work at.  It becomes innate in us as we spend more time with Him.  The more we know and trust His love for us, the more we love.   Think about how it makes you feel when you know you are truly loved by someone…anyone.   There is such a bond that is developed with that person.  It doesn’t even have to be spoken; the spirits within us just connect.  The faults we might have seen in one another disappear from sight.   That is how the Father sees us too!   Our sins disappear, they are forgotten, and they are from Him and His thoughts, as far as east is from the west.

We are told in HIS WORD 'Love the Lord our God with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our strength and with all our mind'.  I don’t know about you, though I want to love Him like this I have to honestly say there are times when I don’t.   There are times when my mind, my soul, my heart and even my strength are set on my own desires and not His.   This is where His grace shows up….I dare not take advantage of this with an attitude that I can get by with it because He has covered me with His grace, not at all, rather I sincerely go to Him with a changed heart and accept His grace that did not take offense to me.

Eternity with HIM, today, tomorrow, forever…constantly growing with Him in LOVE.

As we celebrate this season rejoice and meditate on the Love of the Father.

There is no other love like His.

HE LOVES US!!!

HE LOVES YOU!!!

2/28/08                                   Whose authority are you operating under?

As a child of God we have been given, not just good authority, or even just great authority, but we have been given “All authority”, that means that if we have “All authority” then that means Satan has; zero, none, no authority.

Matthew 29:18-19:

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Luke 10:19

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Remembering that Satan has no authority he can only harm us if we allow him to do so.  Also, remember that he is clever and has been around for a long time and has a “bag of tricks” he uses on all of us.  He is subtle and sometimes he uses the simplest tactics to take our authority.  How does he do that, he gets our permission, then we come into agreement with him, then we are operating in a covenant with him.

As I said he is subtle, lets say in our mind we think; “I am ugly”, or “no body likes me”, or “my mother had cancer so I will”, or “dad is an alcoholic, I guess I will be”.  These thoughts may seem innocent, however, the moment we come into agreement with these thoughts, we have given Satan legal rights and legal access to torment us.

The same is true with spoken words, when we speak harsh words to some one and they come into agreement with these words, a door has been opened for Satan to get busy.  We tell someone that “they are stupid”, or “they are a terrible person”, if they come into agreement the statement; Satan has permission to torment them.

I have a friend that I have known for over 30 years; he was married and has two children.  He worked in a flower shop and he was very creative.  Several people would make comments how “gay his job was” then he started acting the part. I had not seen him for several years, I spoke to him and there he was living a gay life.  Spoken words that were said and he came into agreement, altered his life.

How sad that Satan with no authority can do so much damage, because what seems so simple or innocent really can harm us and others.

Peter 5:7-9 (NKJV)

casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

John 10:10

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

So, where is the good news here?  Remember that “All Authority” we have which was given to you by Jesus?  We have all authority oven Satan and all his demons and beast of the fields and He has given us power and authority to take back all the devil has stolen from us.  This means we can break permissions, agreements or covenants that we have entered into with Satan, either knowing or unknowing; and more importantly we can do it at any time we want!  We have the power and all the authority to take it back!  Thus, destroying the works of the devil.

Here is a sample prayer that I have incorporated in my daily prayer time.  We never know what doors we have opened or words that have been spoken over us:

Father God; I break and bind any permissions, agreements, covenants that I entered into that are not of You, and I send them to the feet of Jesus.  Father, I confess any permissions, agreements, covenants that I agreed to knowingly or unknowingly; Father I renounce them and I ask that you release me.  Father, I repent.  I asked you to loose a Christ-like spirit on me this day, Your peace, Your joy and Your Love which is ever abundant.  I ask all this in Blessed Name of Jesus.  Amen.

Know that you are able to walk in Freedom, Victory and with All Authority! So, whose authority are you operating under?

2/22/08                                            Purposed and Kingdom Power

Throughout the Bible (God’s Word), Prophets would give prophetic words, concerning the first coming of Christ, Christ’s second coming, His millennium Kingdom, about Israel, about His Justice and Restoration.

His prophets would prophesy of future events or judgments.  If it is a judgment for a nation or nations, it is a call to come to repentance and if they do repent the judgment is delayed or called-off.  However there were few times when God would use the word “Purposed” in prophesies.

The word “Purposed” has pricked my spirit recently and I wanted to get a better understanding of that word and what He was saying.

The original Greek word used was teleios, meaning "brought to completion”.

  1. brought to its end, finished

  2. wanting nothing necessary to completeness

  3. perfect

English Dictionary defines purposed as:  To intend or resolve to perform or accomplish.

When God’s uses the word purposed it means that it is complete and finished.  When we look at how purposed in some of the prophecies are used we find that the results are completion, always:

Isaiah 14:24 (NIV) [A Prophecy against Assyria] The LORD Almighty has sworn, "Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.

Isaiah 14:27 (NIV) For the LORD Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

Jeremiah 50:45 (NIV) Therefore, hear what the LORD has planned against Babylon, what he has purposed against the land of the Babylonians: The young of the flock will be dragged away; he will completely destroy their pasture because of them.

Here is one I really like:

Ephesians 1:7-10 (NIV) In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.

To me this means that “He purposed in Christ” it is finished and perfect, then He purposed it in us because Christ is in us, we are redeemed, bought and paid by His blood. We have all wisdom, understanding and He has made known the mystery of His will for us, according to his good pleasure.  We are His children and heirs to His Kingdom that will never end.

Being of His Kingdom, we have Kingdom Benefits; Salvation, Devine health and Deliverance of the evil one.  We have been given all authority by Jesus, as He said in Matthew 29:18-19:

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Jesus also said in Matthew 10:6-8:

Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Paul said in 1 Corinthians 4:20 (NKJV):

For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

We must walk in Kingdom Power, supernatural power, resurrection power to complete what was commanded us to do by Jesus in Matthew 10:6-8.

In a recent conference, we witnessed (Kingdom people) that were operating under Kingdom Power, and they were able to see many healed, delivered and saved.

A lady came forward for prayer; she had asthma, bronchitis and almost no energy. She was anointed with oil, hands were laid upon her and God was asked to release His healing power on her.  Just a few moments later she was feeling better and later that day she was totally healed and full of energy.  This is Kingdom Power, praise God

Another testimony; from a lady who had a heart condition that required surgery; after being prayed over by several people, she said she felt better.  She said she had an appointment with her doctor the following week.  She went to see her doctor and after the examination her doctor told her that the heart issue she had was gone and she did not need surgery.  Again, This is Kingdom Power, praise God

All diseases are from the devil just as the examples above.  Like Jesus, we are to destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 3:8 (NKJV) He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

He proposed us and when we walk in Kingdom Power we are a dangerous people that will destroy the works of the devil!

2/10/08                                                           This Morning

During a pre-worship meeting I looked at the banner with the word Austin on it, as I looked at the Letter “A”, I received 3 words; Advance, Absolute and Adore; what did these words mean?

God:

Advance - The Kingdom of God is always Advancing, always expanding, never looking back.

Mat 11:12   From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.

Absolute - He is God and there is no god other than Him: He sets on His throne and is the absolute Ruler and Creator of all.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Mat 23:22 the throne of God and by Him who sits on it.

Adores - He adores us, loves us, care for us and wants that no one should perish.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Us (Believing believers):

Advance - We are carriers of His Kingdom wherever we go and whatever we say, we are His Ambassadors, we are commissioned to advance His Kingdom.

Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Absolute - We have all (absolute, total, complete) authority from Jesus and we are commanded to use this authority to further His Kingdom

Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Matthew 10; 7-8 As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Adores - Yes, He love us and adores us, we are to do the same; love others.

Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.

Old Testament Prophesy

Description

New Testament Fulfillment

Genesis 3:15  And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

Born of the seed of a woman

Matthew 1:20  But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 21:22-23  “If a man has committed a sin deserving of death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, 23 his body shall not remain overnight on the tree, but you shall surely bury him that day, so that you do not defile the land which the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance; for he who is hanged is accursed.

Death by crucifixion

Matthew 27:35  Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots,[a] that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet:
“ They divided My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots.”[b]

Psalm 2:7  I will declare the decree:
The LORD has said to Me,
         ‘You are My Son,
         Today I have begotten You.

Son of God

Matthew 3:17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Psalm 8:6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,

Everything is subject to God’s Son

1 Corinthians 15:27  For “He has put all things under His feet.”[a] But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

Ephesians 1:22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.[a]

Born a virgin

Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 1:24-25 Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, 25 and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son.[a] And he called His name JESUS.

Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. the zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Messiah to be God

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:18  No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son,[
